The B Room - Rebranding


A unique upscale barber salon was established in 2015 in Long Beach. The B Room is more than just a barber shop, it's a place where you can come relax and pamper yourself. The B Room aspires to give every gentleman a unique and custom hair cut, spa experience. They aim to create a cut, shave, or trim catered to you. The B Room commitment is to take you away from your everyday routine and make you look and feel great about yourself. - The B Room B Unique -

The idea of connecting the name and the purpose of the shop, I took avantage of the curve from the B with stright line to turn it into the other half of the scissor. The logo idea and the meaning starting with the place (The B Room), to the object they use (scissor), and creating the clean line (hair cut) has shown in the logo visual. I choose different value of yellow to bring the idea of golden scissor represent as professional and modern. I used the signature font to keep it professonal and modern to connect and fit with the logo. I matched the letter B with yellow to make sure it bring both value of logo and shop name.





I kept the same theme for the whole stationery system: blue and yellow (horizontal way), and logo in the top left. It showed the connection of the design in stationery system. A mustache (gentlemen symbol) is added to the theme of the stationery system. The purpose of the mustache is to clarify the type of customer the shop is targeting.
